Day “1”

PLEDGE –

Today’s a ½ day with no lunch served.  Dismissal at 12:00!

The two Nothing But Nets Basketball games will be held next Thursday along with the Championship Game.  Late buses will be available along with parent pick-up.

Students – Don’t miss out on the fun!  Today’s the last day to turn in your permission slip and payment to the Middle School Family Association for Skate Night this Sunday from 5:15-7:15.  Admission is $6 with an additional $3 for skate rental.  Tickets will also be sold at the door.

Time to clean out those gently used books on the shelves and put them to good use!  The Middle School will be hosting a book drive to help promote reading in our community.  Books can vary between baby books, picture books, hard and soft cover, young adult and novels.  All will be donated to the Burlington Township Food Pantry.  Please drop books off in the Library.  For each book donated your name will be placed in a drawing for a chance to win a Barnes and Noble gift card!  We will have a winner for each Middle School grade level and one staff member as well.  The deadline for the book donation isMarch 3rd.  Please help us to spread the love of reading throughout Burlington Township!

Students – If you are interested in nominating “Your Favorite Teacher” you can enter them in a contest! Complete the Barnes and Noble entry form which is located in the Library.  All nominating forms must be returned before March 1st.

And now here’s Ms. Tropp with our reading on Random Acts of Kindness.

Reminder to ALL students:  If you are going home on the bus with another student, a bus note from both parents is needed. The notes should indicate bus number and also a telephone number to contact a parent to verify.   Please bring bus notes to the office before going to homeroom.

The Burlington Township School District will develop the intellectual, creative, and social potential of each child through an active partnership with all members of the community.
