It’s Water Ice and Celebrity Scoop Night Time! Come out to Rita’s Water Ice in Burlington on High Street tomorrow from 5-8:00 PM.  Cool off with a refreshing water ice and a portion of your purchase will be donated to the 8th Grade Advancement Committee for the dance!

Students are reminded to wear your seat belts and remain in your seats at all times when being transported to and from school.  Face forward and remain in the seating area, not in the aisle when on the school bus.

This is an important message for students:  PARCC testing will begin today.  The first two days of testing will be 6th grade testing.  We ask that all students store your electronic devices in your lockers on your grade level PARCC testing days.  This includes phones, tablets, and smart watches.  Any student who may bring such a device to a testing room will be asked to give the device to your testing teacher and they will return it to you at the end of testing.  Although we will provide ample numbers of headsets or ear buds for testing, we ask that you consider bringing in your own familiar ear buds or headsets on the days of testing.

Yearbooks continue to be on sale for $30.  Extra yearbook order forms for 6 and 7th grade students are located in D202 or in the Main Office.

The Burlington Twp. Cheerleading Program will be hosting a free Pre-Tryout Clinic this Saturday from 9-1:00 pm in the Middle School Gym.  Come out to work on your stunt and tumbling skills in preparation for our upcoming tryout.  The Nationally Ranked Burlington Township Cheerleading Program will be held on May 8, 9th and 10th from 5:30 until 8:00 PM in the Middle School Gym.

Collection for 8th grade dues will continue until this Friday on Tuesday and Thursday during lunch.  Dues are $50. (Yearbook $25/Gown$20 and Certificate $5).  Checks and money orders can be made out to BTMS.

Reminder to ALL students:  If you are going home on the bus with another student, a bus note from both parents is needed. The notes should indicate bus number and also a telephone number to contact a parent to verify.   Please bring bus notes to the office before going to homeroom.

Collection for the 6 Grade Dance/Activity Night will be held today through Friday during lunch. Before purchasing a ticket all textbook and library fines must be paid.

The Burlington Township School District will develop the intellectual, creative, and social potential of each child through an active partnership with all members of the community.
